Peer Recovery Case Manager, Tiffany Evans
Tiffany Evans is joining the Dove House team as the newest Peer Recovery Case Manager. Formerly, Tiffany was a Home-Based Preservation Specialist. Tiffany is well acquainted with mental health as she was certified in 2019 as a recovery specialist and community health worker through Mental Health America. She’s currently enrolled at Ivy Tech and plans to transfer to USI as she pursues a degree in social work.
An active member in the recovery world herself, Tiffany is excited to come alongside women at Dove House. “I see the power that comes from one recovering person helping another recovering person. Dove utilizes strong examples of women that have overcome their own challenges to help empower their residents to find the strength within themselves to overcome and then help others. It is the ultimate ripple effect. There is magic in that,” Tiffany shared.
As a peer recovery case manager, Tiffany’s role will be to guide women at Dove along their path in life and give them support and encouragement in their recovery.
She hopes to be an example of what staying sober, through the good and bad, looks like. Tiffany shared, “I want to help plant the seeds of recovery and water them. I want to make an impact by being able to say ‘I understand and relate to what you are saying, you don’t have to ever feel that way again, here let me help you learn how.'”
Tiffany is looking forward to being part of the community at Dove House.
“Connection is an important key to sobriety,” Tiffany says, “and being able to connect with the community that they
are a part of I believe will only help empower these women for long-term success.”
In her rare free time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family. She has a 14-year-old and an eleven-year-old and shared, “I’m so lucky to get to be their mom.”
Welcome to Dove House Tiffany! We are so excited to have you.
